The listing describes an aluminium core with plastic tanks, and the title references a PA66 GF30 tank material. A leaking radiator, cracked plastic tank or blocked core can lead to coolant loss, rising temperatures and eventually serious engine damage, so prompt replacement is important.

Vehicle compatibility

The listed fitment table has 102 entries, mainly the BMW 3 Series E46 sedan, Touring, Coupe, Convertible and Compact (approx. 1998–2006) with petrol and diesel engines from 316i to 330xi and 330d, plus the Z4 Roadster E85 and E89. The model attributes also list the E90, E91, E92 and E93 3 Series, 1 Series E81, E82 and E88, and X1 E84. These platforms use different radiators, and both manual and automatic versions exist, so the quoted numbers will not all suit every model. Please confirm by OE-reference number or VIN before ordering.

Key features

Aluminium core with plastic tanks

Choose aluminium brazed or expanding pipe construction

Silver and black colour

Designed for the automotive cooling system

New condition

Technical specifications

Part type

Engine radiator

OE-reference numbers

17119071517, 17119071518, 17117559273

Construction

Aluminium core, plastic tanks

Processing options

Aluminium brazed or expanding pipe

Colour

Silver/black

Condition

New

Sold per

Box

Approx. packed dimensions

75 x 55 x 15 cm

Approx. packed weight

3.5 kg

Installation requirements

Drain the cooling system with the engine cold, remove the fan shroud and hoses, and release the radiator from its mounts.
