volkswagen-amarok-2010-2022-tail-light-assembly-2h1945095a-2h1945096g-37653
Volkswagen Amarok 2010–2022 Tail Light Assembly 2H1945095A / 2H1945096G

Product overview

A replacement tail light assembly for the Volkswagen Amarok, referenced to OE numbers 2H1945095A / B / G and 2H1945096A / B / G. Ute tail lights are exposed to towbars, trailers, loading bays and farm gates, so cracked lenses and broken housings are common. A complete new lamp restores your rear lighting and helps keep the vehicle warrant-ready. Moisture inside the lens, faded plastic or a lamp that will not seal properly are other common reasons owners choose a replacement.

Vehicle compatibility

Listed fitment data includes 21 rows for the Volkswagen Amarok and Amarok Platform/Chassis from 2010 to 2022, covering 2.0 TDI, 2.0 BiTDI, 2.0 TSI and 3.0 TDI V6 engines, with and without 4motion. One listing attribute incorrectly mentions the Golf City; the fitment rows and OE numbers clearly point to the Amarok. Cab-chassis versions often use different rear lighting, so confirm the OE number on your existing lamp before ordering.

Key features

Rear tail light assembly for the Amarok

Red lens option (clear and smoked lenses also listed)

Rear left and rear right positions listed

Halogen or LED light source versions referenced

New condition

Technical specifications

Part type

Tail light assembly

OE-reference numbers

2H1945095A/B/G (left), 2H1945096A/B/G (right) as listed

Vehicle

Volkswagen Amarok, 2010–2022

Lens colour option

Red

Wattage

25 W (as listed)

Condition

New

Approx. packed dimensions

46 x 26 x 22 cm

Approx. packed weight

3.0 kg

Installation requirements

Amarok tail lights are typically secured by screws accessible with the tailgate open. Remove the screws, ease the lamp out of its locating clips, unplug the connector and fit the new unit. Check that the seal sits correctly, then test tail, brake, indicator, reverse and fog functions. Upgrading from halogen to LED lamps may need adaptors or coding; an auto electrician can assist.

Fitment checks before ordering

Confirm the side, lamp type (halogen or LED) and OE number by VIN before ordering.
