Centre the rack before fitting, torque all mounts to specification, and complete a wheel alignment before driving. On assisted versions the hydraulic system must be bled after installation.

On older vehicles, it is worth inspecting the steering column universal joint, inner and outer tie rods and the subframe mounts at the same time. Worn surrounding parts can mask the improvement a new rack provides, and replacing perished boots helps keep road grit out of the new unit.

Fitment checks before ordering

The listing mixes manual and power-assisted OE references, so please compare the part number stamped on your existing rack or share your VIN and model details.
