It suits owners replacing a damaged or faulty headlamp with a new cool white unit.

A replacement assembly is the simplest fix for a damaged lens, broken mounting tabs or a lamp that has suffered water ingress. Fitting a new unit restores lighting performance and appearance, and it avoids the cost and complexity of attempting to repair the sealed internal LED components of a modern Golf headlamp.

Vehicle compatibility

The part listing names the Volkswagen Golf Mk8 from 2020. The automated fitment table instead lists Golf VII (5G1) from 2013, which is a different generation with different headlamps. Please treat the Mk8 as the intended application and confirm by OE number or VIN before ordering.

Key features

Cool white light output with 6000 K colour temperature

Rated power option listed at 72 W

12 V operation

Referenced to OE number 5HG941006

Technical specifications

Part type

Headlight assembly

OE-reference number

5HG 941 006

Voltage

12 V

Listed wattage

70 W (option shows 72 W)

Listed output

4000 lm

Colour temperature

6000 K (Cool White)

Condition

New

Sold per

Piece

Approx. packed dimensions

70 x 60 x 56 cm

Approx. packed weight

15.0 kg

Installation requirements

Fitting requires partial removal of the front bumper and should be carried out by a professional.
