INSTALLATION NOTES

• Remove the original selector handle release button assembly from the gear selector before installation.
• Keep the chrome-plated metal piece on the selector handle in place; it is spring-loaded inside the gear selector.
• Inspect the interior of the gear selector for loose or broken plastic fragments from the old button assembly and remove any debris.
• Insert the new button assembly while pressing the chrome metal piece down; the new assembly should snap securely into place.
• Test function by turning the key to ACC or ON to unlock the gear selector and confirming smooth button and selector operation before driving.
