2x Rear Sports Gas Shock Absorbers for Lowered Ford Fairlane NA–NL

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Pair of rear sports gas shock absorbers designed for lowered suspension setups on selected Ford Falcon, Fairmont, Fairlane and LTD sedans. Supplied with new heavy duty bump stops and tuned for improved sports handling and control.

SUITS VEHICLES

Rear fitment on selected sedan models only, including:

• Ford Falcon XE, XF, EA, EB, ED, EF, EL
• Ford Falcon AU with rear beam axle (not IFS rear suspension)
• Ford Fairmont (sedan only)
• Ford Fairlane ZK, ZL (sedan only)
• Ford Fairlane NA, NC, NF, NL with self-levelling rear suspension system
• Ford LTD sedans where applicable

Important: Does not suit station wagons or utes.

SELF-LEVELLING MODELS INFORMATION

• When fitting to vehicles with Ford self-levelling rear suspension, the rear springs must be replaced.
• Converts the suspension to standard non-levelling type.
• The self-levelling warning light fuse must be disconnected.

• Bottom mount: Eye with metal sleeve
• Open length: 440 mm
• Closed length: 273 mm

FITTING NOTES

• Rear shocks only – suits lowered spring applications.
• For beam axle Falcon AU only – not suitable for IFS rear suspension models.
• Not suitable for station wagons or ute body styles.
• Tighten the lower mounting bolt to 8 Nm to prevent noise or knock.
• Professional installation is recommended and an alignment check after fitment is advised.
