2x Rear Sports Gas Shock Absorbers for Ford Fairlane ZK ZL Lowered

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Pair of rear lowered height sports gas shock absorbers designed to improve handling and ride control on selected Ford Falcon, Fairmont, Fairlane and LTD sedans. New heavy duty rear bump stops are included.

SUITABLE VEHICLES

Suits selected sedans only (not wagons or utes) including, but not limited to:

• Ford Fairlane ZK, ZL
• Ford Fairlane NA, NC, NF, NL with self-levelling rear suspension system
• Ford Falcon XE, XF, EA, EB, ED, EF, EL
• Ford Falcon AU with rear beam axle (does not suit IFS rear suspension models)

When fitting to vehicles with a self-levelling rear suspension system, the rear springs must be replaced to revert the suspension to a standard non-levelling type. The self-levelling warning light fuse must also be disconnected.

Note: Does not suit station wagons or utes.

SPECIFICATIONS

FITTING INFORMATION

• Professional installation is recommended.
• When used on vehicles originally equipped with self-levelling rear suspension, replace rear springs and disable self-levelling warning circuit as required.
• Tighten the lower mounting bolt to 8 Nm to prevent knocking or noise.
