INSTALLATION & ANTI-PINCH RESET

If your vehicle is equipped with an electric window regulator motor featuring an anti-pinch (one-touch) function, do not operate the motor before it is installed in the door, otherwise the anti-pinch function may require resetting.

• Motors are factory tested and set up before dispatch.
• After installation, connect the motor to the one-touch window switch and raise the window. If it goes fully up and stays at the top, the function is correctly set.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure below.

Anti-pinch reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch so the window goes fully up again.

The reset is complete if the window stays at the top. If it drops again, repeat the steps until successful.
