WINDOW REGULATOR ANTI-PINCH RESET (IF APPLICABLE)

If your vehicle is equipped with an electric window regulator motor with anti-pinch function and you have serviced or replaced the regulator/motor while working on the door, the anti-pinch feature may require resetting.

Reset procedure (general guidance only):

• Do not operate the motor before it is correctly installed in the door.
• After installation, connect the motor to the one-touch window switch and raise the window fully.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the following steps:

• Step 1: Pull the switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully and confirm that it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set. Refer to your vehicle’s service information for model-specific procedures.
