PRODUCT OVERVIEW

This 2-piece bolt-in gas bonnet strut kit is designed to replace or upgrade the factory bonnet support on Toyota LandCruiser 70 Series models, providing smoother opening and secure support for the bonnet.

FEATURES

  • Direct bolt-in gas strut design for bonnet support
  • Improves ease of bonnet opening and closing
  • Provides stable, hands-free bonnet support
  • Supplied as a 2x strut kit

VEHICLE COMPATIBILITY

Suitable for the following applications (where fitted from factory or where bonnet and engine bay layout match):

  • For LandCruiser 70 Series (1985–now)
  • For LandCruiser FJ75, BJ73, HJ75, HZJ75
  • For LandCruiser HZJ79, HDJ79, HZJ78, HDJ78, VDJ79, VDJ78

Note: 2007–2009 VDJ models will require the fuse box on the driver side to be relocated approximately 25 mm.

Will fit with dual battery tray where a small section of the tray is trimmed to clear the strut.

INSTALLATION NOTES

  • Bolt-in installation – no welding required
  • Basic hand tools recommended for fitment
  • Professional installation recommended if unsure
