WINDOW REGULATOR ANTI-PINCH NOTE

If your vehicle is equipped with a window regulator motor with an anti-pinch function, follow the reset instructions below after any work to the door assembly that may affect the regulator or motor.

• Do not test the window motor before it is installed in the door or the anti-pinch function may fail.
• The motors are typically pre-set by the manufacturer before delivery.
• After installation, connect the motor to the one-touch window switch and test that the window goes fully up.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure.

Anti-pinch reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch so the window travels fully up to the top.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
