INSTALLATION & ANTI-PINCH RESET NOTE

For vehicles equipped with window regulators using motors with anti-pinch (one-touch) function:

• Do not test the window motor before it is fully installed in the door, as this can cause the anti-pinch function to lose its setting.
• Motors are typically pre-tested and set before delivery.
• After installation, connect the one-touch window switch and check that the window travels fully to the top as expected.
• If the window goes up and then drops back down from the top position, the anti-pinch function must be reset.

Anti-pinch reset procedure (general guide):

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch again to move the window fully to the top and confirm it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the function is correctly set. Always refer to the specific vehicle service information where available.
