ANTI-PINCH MOTOR RESET (WHERE APPLICABLE)

For electric window regulators with an anti-pinch function, the motor may require a reset after installation if the window drops after reaching the top position.

• Install the motor to the regulator in the door before testing.
• Connect the one-touch window switch and raise the window fully.
• If the glass reaches the top then drops, follow the reset steps below.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and confirm it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset procedure until successful.
