Function & Application

This surge tank increases the fuelling capability of the fuel system by maintaining a constant fuel supply to the external pump or pumps. The in-tank (OEM) pump is used to keep the surge tank filled, while external pumps mounted after the tank supply fuel to the engine. This configuration is particularly beneficial for vehicles experiencing fuel slosh in inadequately baffled tanks, especially in motorsport use such as autocross, off-road, drag racing and other high g-force driving conditions.
