Aeroflow AF98-2020 Handheld Pipe Beading Tool for 3/8 in Tube

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The Aeroflow AF98-2020 handheld pipe beading tool is designed to create clean, consistent beads on aluminium tubing to improve hose retention and minimise leaks. It is ideal for fabricating custom fuel, coolant and other fluid lines.

APPLICATION & COMPATIBILITY

Suitable for beading the following tube sizes:

  • 7.94 mm (5/16") aluminium pipe
  • 9.52 mm (3/8") aluminium pipe
  • 12.7 mm (1/2") aluminium pipe

Commonly used when building custom fuel lines or other hose connections where a positive bead is required to prevent hose slip.

FEATURES

  • Handheld design for use on installed or loose tubing
  • Produces a properly positioned, smooth-radius bead
  • Constructed from heat-treated steel for durability
  • Helps secure hose clamps and reduce the risk of leaks

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

  • Deburr the tube end before inserting the tool.
  • Insert the tool into the tubing and tighten lightly.
  • Turn the tool slowly to begin forming the bead.
  • Increase clamping pressure gradually over multiple passes to build the final bead height.
  • Use suitable lubrication on the tool during operation.
