CONSTRUCTION & MATERIALS

BMC performance filters are produced using a full moulding system, forming the characteristic red filter frame from a single mould with no welded joints for greater durability. The sealing rubber is engineered for long life and excellent adhesion to the airbox.

The filter media consists of multi-layered cotton gauze, treated with low-viscosity oil and supported by an epoxy-coated alloy mesh. This construction delivers high airflow while protecting against fuel vapours and corrosion from air humidity.
