CONSTRUCTION & FILTRATION

The BMC FB566/04 air filter is manufactured using a single-piece "Full Moulding" process for the red frame, eliminating welded joints that can weaken over time. The rubber compound offers long-lasting durability and excellent sealing against the airbox to help prevent unfiltered air bypass.

The filtering element is a multi-layered cotton gauze treated with low-viscosity oil and supported by an epoxy-coated alloy mesh. This combination delivers increased airflow while capturing contaminants as small as approximately 7 microns, compared with around 10 microns for many standard OEM paper filters. The epoxy coating protects the mesh against fuel vapours and humidity-related oxidation.
