Installation and Usage

Support the transmission with a jack, remove the gearbox crossmember and unbolt the old mounts. Fit the new mount, refit the crossmember and torque all fasteners to BMW specifications. Some increase in noise and vibration through the cabin is normal with polyurethane mounts. Professional installation is recommended if you do not have suitable lifting equipment and experience with driveline work.
