Product Overview
These 304 stainless steel racing downpipes are designed for the BMW F90 M5 and F92 M8 from 2019 onwards. They replace the factory exhaust sections directly after the twin turbochargers, reducing restriction for highly tuned V8 builds. The larger, smoother pipework is popular with owners pursuing significant power upgrades, typically alongside a professional engine calibration.

Installation and Usage
Downpipe installation on a twin-turbo V8 involves significant disassembly, sensor relocation and careful sealing at the turbo outlets. An engine tune is required in most cases to prevent fault codes and ensure the engine runs correctly. Installation should be carried out only by a workshop experienced with BMW M vehicles, with thorough leak and sensor checks afterwards.

Important Fitment Notice
Racing downpipes are generally intended for motorsport use. Modifying or removing emissions equipment may make a road vehicle non-compliant and fail WoF in New Zealand, and noise limits also apply. Please check local requirements before purchasing. Send us your VIN or chassis number and we will help confirm fitment before you order.
