All New Ceramic Catalytic Converters Needs To Be Bedded In When First Fitted. This Is Done By Having The Car In Neutral (For Manual) In Park (For Auto) With The Handbrake On And Run The Engine For 3 Minutes At 2500rpm. This Heats Up The Ceramic Brick In The Cat And Seats It Properly In Its Matting, Prolonging The Life Of The Cat. There Will Be Some Smoke When Bedding In The Cat, But Don'T Worry It Is Just The Coating On The Outside Of The Cat Bedding In As Well.
