WINDOW REGULATOR ANTI-PINCH RESET (IF APPLICABLE)

If your vehicle is equipped with a window regulator motor with anti-pinch function and it has been disturbed during door repair, the anti-pinch feature may need to be reset.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may fail.
• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to bring the window fully up. If the window drops after reaching the top, reset is required.

Reset procedure (general guideline):

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up again and confirm it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the sequence until successful, or refer to a qualified technician.
