WINDOW REGULATOR ANTI-PINCH NOTE

If you are working on the door in conjunction with a window regulator motor that features an anti-pinch function, ensure the motor is correctly set after installation.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may require resetting.
• Install the motor, connect the one-touch window switch and check that the window travels fully up.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure.

Anti-pinch reset steps:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch so the window travels fully up. Repeat if the window still drops from the top.
