ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

If the window regulator system uses an anti-pinch safety function, follow these guidelines after installation:

• Install the motor in the door before testing. Operating it out of the door can cause the anti-pinch function to fail.
• The motors are pre-tested and set prior to supply, but may require resetting after installation.
• Connect the motor to the one-touch window switch and pull the switch up to raise the window fully.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window to the top and check that it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
