ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP (WHERE APPLICABLE)

For window regulators or motors equipped with an anti-pinch function, correct initialization is critical. Do not power-test the motor before installation in the door, or the anti-pinch function may fail and require resetting.

• Install the regulator and motor in the door and connect to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to confirm the window travels fully to the top.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves up slightly to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top. If it drops again, repeat the procedure.
