INSTALLATION & ANTI-PINCH SETUP

If your vehicle uses an anti-pinch (one-touch) function, the motor must be correctly set up after installation. Do not operate or test the motor before it is mounted in the door, otherwise the anti-pinch function may require resetting.

General reset procedure:

• Install the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull the switch to raise the window fully to the top.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform a reset:

• Step 1: Pull the switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully and check that it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function operates correctly.
