ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION MOTOR SETUP (IF APPLICABLE)

For vehicles with an electric motor featuring an anti-pinch (one-touch) function, follow these guidelines when installing or resetting the system:

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may require resetting.
• Install the motor on the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull the switch fully up; the window should travel all the way to the top.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, reset the anti-pinch function.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the switch in the up (one-touch) position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the switch in the down (one-touch) position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch again to move the window fully up and confirm that it remains at the top.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the function is correctly set.
