Anti-Pinch Function (Motor Setup)

If your vehicle uses a motor with anti-pinch and one-touch function, the motor must be correctly set after installation. Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may fail and require resetting.

• Install the motor to the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull the switch up and confirm the window travels fully to the top.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure below.

Anti-Pinch Reset Procedure

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top. If it drops again, repeat the steps until successful.
