INSTALLATION & ANTI-PINCH NOTE

This regulator is designed to work with the existing electric motor and one-touch window switch where equipped. If used with a motor featuring an anti-pinch function, correct setup is critical to avoid malfunction.

Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, as this may cause the anti-pinch function to fail and require reset.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE (WHERE APPLICABLE)

• Step 1: With the motor and regulator installed and connected, briefly pull the window switch to move the glass fully to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds when the window reaches the top.
• Step 3: Briefly press the window switch to move the glass fully to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window back to the top and confirm it no longer drops down automatically.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
