Installation & Anti-Pinch Reset

If used with a window regulator motor that has an anti-pinch function, correct setup is required for one-touch operation:

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, otherwise the anti-pinch function may need resetting.
• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch, then check that the window travels fully up.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, perform an anti-pinch reset.

Anti-pinch reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up and confirm it no longer drops down.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the reset is successful.
