Anti-Pinch Function Setup

If your vehicle uses a window regulator motor with anti-pinch and one-touch function, follow these guidelines:

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, otherwise the anti-pinch function may require resetting.
• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull the switch up: the window should travel fully to the top. If it reaches the top and then drops slightly, the anti-pinch function must be reset.

Anti-Pinch Reset Procedure

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully to the top and check that it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the function operates correctly.
