ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP (IF APPLICABLE)
For window motors equipped with an anti-pinch (one-touch) function, correct setup is critical for proper operation.
- Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may lose calibration.
- The motors are tested and set prior to dispatch.
- Install the motor, connect it to the one-touch window switch, and operate the switch to confirm the window travels fully up.
- If the window drops after reaching the top position, perform a reset of the anti-pinch function.
ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE
- Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top position.
- Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
- Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
- Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
- Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up and confirm it no longer drops automatically.
If the window still moves down after reaching the top, repeat the reset procedure until the function operates correctly.
