ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP (WHERE APPLICABLE)

If the vehicle uses an anti-pinch one-touch window system, the motor may require initialization after installation.

• Do not power-test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may require resetting.
• Install the motor, connect it to the one-touch window switch, and operate the window fully up.
• If the window goes up and then drops slightly, follow the reset steps below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET STEPS

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the glass moves slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the glass moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up and confirm it no longer drops at the top.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset procedure until the function is correctly initialized.
