ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP (WHERE APPLICABLE)

If the window regulator system uses an anti-pinch function, follow the reset procedure after installation. Do not power-test the motor before it is fitted in the door, or the anti-pinch calibration may be lost.

RESET PROCEDURE (SUMMARY)

• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to raise the window fully and check operation.
• If the glass drops after reaching the top, perform a reset:

• Step 1: Pull the switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up and confirm it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
