Anti-Pinch Function Setup (If Applicable)

Some window regulators and motors feature an anti-pinch safety function. Incorrect testing or installation can cause this function to fail and require resetting.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door.
• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull up the switch; the window should travel fully to the top.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, reset the anti-pinch function.

Anti-Pinch Reset Instructions

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch again to move the window fully to the top.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset procedure until it remains closed.
