ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

If the vehicle is equipped with an anti-pinch or one-touch window function, the motor must be correctly set in the door before testing. Testing the motor before installation may require a reset of the anti-pinch function.

• The motors are tested and preset before dispatch.
• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to confirm the window travels fully up without dropping back down.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top without dropping. If it still drops, repeat the above steps until successful.
