ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (IF APPLICABLE)

Some electric window motors are equipped with an anti-pinch safety function. If the window drops back down after reaching the top position, the anti-pinch function may require resetting.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch setting may be lost.
• The motors are pre-tested and correctly set before dispatch.
• Install the motor, connect it to the one-touch window switch, and raise the window fully to confirm correct operation.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and check that it no longer drops.

If the window still goes down after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly calibrated.
