ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION – SETUP & RESET

If your vehicle uses an anti-pinch (one-touch) window function, follow these guidelines to avoid malfunction and to reset the system if required.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may fail and require reset.
• Motors are tested and set correctly before dispatch.
• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch. Pull the switch up; the window should close fully.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure below.

Anti-pinch reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch again to move the window fully up to the top.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the function operates correctly.
