ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (IF APPLICABLE)

If the window regulator system uses an anti-pinch function and the window drops after reaching the top, a reset may be required after installation.

• Install the motor in the door and connect it to the one-touch window switch before testing.
• Pull the switch to raise the window fully and check operation.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset steps below.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window up to the top and confirm it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset procedure until correct operation is achieved.
