ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

This type of motor may be used with window regulators that have an anti-pinch (one-touch) safety function. Correct initialization is essential for proper operation.

• Do not power-test the motor before installation in the door.
• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to confirm the window travels fully to the top.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform a reset.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top.

The reset is complete if the window no longer drops after reaching the top. If it still drops, repeat the procedure until successful.
