ANTI-PINCH MOTOR SETUP (GENERAL GUIDANCE)

If your vehicle uses a window motor with anti-pinch and one-touch function, correct initialization may be required after installation. The following general procedure is commonly used:

• Install the regulator and motor in the door and connect the one-touch window switch before testing.
• Operate the window up to the top. If the glass drops back down from the top position, the anti-pinch function may require resetting.

Typical reset steps:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass fully to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the glass fully to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the switch to raise the window to the top and confirm it no longer drops back down.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above steps or refer to the vehicle-specific workshop manual.
