Anti-Pinch Function Reset (If Applicable)

If your vehicle uses an electric window motor with anti-pinch and one-touch functions, the motor may require resetting after installation:

• Install the motor to the regulator and connect the one-touch window switch before testing.
• If the window drops slightly after reaching the top, reset the anti-pinch function using the steps below.

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass fully to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the switch in the up (one-touch) position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the glass fully to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the switch in the down (one-touch) position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window back to the top and check operation.

The reset is complete if the window no longer moves down after reaching the top. Repeat the procedure if necessary.
