ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP (WHERE APPLICABLE)

Some electric window motors are equipped with an anti-pinch safety function. Incorrect testing before installation can cause this function to fail and require resetting.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door.
• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull up the switch to raise the window. The setup is correct if the window closes fully and stays at the top.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch again to move the window up to the top.

If the window remains at the top, the reset is complete. If it still drops after reaching the top, repeat the steps until successful.
