ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (IF EQUIPPED)

Some electric window motors include an anti-pinch (one-touch) safety function. If the window drops after reaching the top, the motor may require resetting.

• Do not power-test the motor before it is installed in the door.
• Install the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to raise the glass; if it drops at the top, perform a reset.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Keep the switch pulled up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly to move the glass slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Keep the switch pressed down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Use the one-touch function to raise the window fully and verify it no longer drops.

If the window still drops at the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
