ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP (WHERE APPLICABLE)

If the window regulator motor is equipped with an anti-pinch function, follow these guidelines during installation:

• Do not power-test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may require resetting.
• Motors are pre-tested and set prior to dispatch.
• After installation, connect to the one-touch window switch and raise the window. Correct setup is indicated if the glass travels fully up and stays at the top.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure.

Anti-pinch reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Use the one-touch function to raise the window fully to the top and check that it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the reset is successful.
