ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (IF APPLICABLE)

Some electric window motors feature an anti-pinch (one-touch) safety function. If the window drops after reaching the top, the motor may require resetting.

• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch before testing.
• If the window goes fully up and stays at the top, no reset is required.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, follow the reset steps below.

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top and check it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset procedure until successful.
