ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (IF APPLICABLE)

Some 6-pin motors feature an anti-pinch safety function. If the window drops after reaching the top position, the motor may require resetting after installation.

• Install the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch before testing.
• If the window lowers itself after reaching the top, follow the reset procedure below.

RESET PROCEDURE (GENERAL GUIDE)

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass fully to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the UP position for 3–5 seconds.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the glass fully to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the DOWN position for 3–5 seconds.
• Step 5: Operate the one-touch UP function and confirm the window no longer drops after reaching the top.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the procedure. Always refer to the vehicle’s service information for model-specific instructions.
