ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (WHERE APPLICABLE)

If your vehicle uses an anti-pinch function with one-touch window operation, the motor may require resetting after installation.

• Do not power-test the motor before it is installed in the door.
• Install the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Check operation: the window should travel fully to the top when the switch is pulled up.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset steps below.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch again to move the window up to the top and confirm it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
