ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

This regulator motor may use an anti-pinch safety function. Incorrect testing before installation can cause the function to fail and require resetting.

• Do not test the motor before it is correctly installed in the door.
• Install the motor, connect it to the one-touch window switch and operate the window.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains in the top position. If it drops again, repeat the steps until successful.
