Anti-Pinch Function Reset (If Applicable)

If the window regulator motor is equipped with an anti-pinch function, follow these guidelines after installation:

• Do not test the motor before it is fully installed in the door.
• Install the motor, connect it to the one-touch window switch, and raise the window.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, reset the anti-pinch function.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window fully to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window fully to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window to the top and check that it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the function operates correctly.
