ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP (WHERE APPLICABLE)

If your vehicle uses a motor with anti-pinch and one-touch function, the motor must be correctly set after installation. Do not power-test the motor before it is mounted in the door, as this can disrupt the anti-pinch memory.

• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to ensure the window runs fully to the top.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, a reset of the anti-pinch function is required.

Typical reset procedure:

• Briefly pull the window switch so the glass moves slightly up to the top position.
• Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Briefly press the switch so the glass moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Pull the one-touch switch again to move the window fully up and confirm it stays at the top.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the procedure until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
